5.7.1.1 Digital fertiliser fill level monitoring (optional)
The fill level sensors monitor the fertiliser level in the fertiliser hopper.
When the fertiliser level reaches the fill level sensor, the AMATRON 3
displays a warning message. At the same time, an alarm signal is
issued. This alarm signal is intended to remind the tractor driver to
refill the fertiliser in due time.
The height of the fill level sensor (Fig. 96/1) in
the fertiliser hopper can be adjusted. The
residual fertiliser volume can be set, at which the
warning message and the alarm signal is to be
emitted.
The height of the fill level sensor can only be
adjusted when the fertiliser hopper is empty.
A fill level sensor is installed above each
metering unit. Install the fill level sensors at the
same height.
The charging sieves are not visible in the figure
(Fig. 96) and are folded up for clarification. Do
not fold up the charging sieves to adjust the fill
level sensor.
