8.2.4 Setting the fertilising rate using a calibration test
1. Fill the fertiliser hopper with at least 200 kg
of fertiliser (see section "Filling the hopper",
Seite 177).
2. Unfold the implement into the working
position (see section "Unfolding the
implement sections", page 171).

CAUTION
Switch off the tractor PTO shaft, apply
the tractor parking brake, switch off
the tractor engine and remove the
ignition key.
3. Insert a calibration trough into the holder
under each metering unit (Fig. 193/1).
4. Open all of the injector sluice flaps (Fig.
194/1).
The opening at the bottom of the injector sluice is
closed when

the lever (Fig. 195/1) of the left injector
sluice points to the left in the direction of
travel

the lever of the right injector sluice points to
the right in the direction of travel.
Note:
The left injector sluice is shown.
Lever position (Fig. 195/1): closed
Lever position (Fig. 195/2): open.
A slider element closes the opening. The slider
element is actuated by a lever (Fig. 195/1). Make
sure that the lever engages when opening and
closing the sliding element.
