The Web-Enabled Instrument Interface and Interactive IO

The Web-enabled instrument interface featured in Chapter 4

is not available

from the

GPIB

USB

interface.

For GPIB or USB operation, the Connection Expert ‘Interactive IO’ utility can

be used to send SCPI commands from the 34945A command set to the instru-

ment. See the section “Using Interactive IO” for more information.

Using Interactive IO

The Connection Expert ‘Interactive IO’ utility provides another method (Table

3-1) of sending commands to the 34945A. Similar to the ‘SCPI Command Inter-

face’ window of the web-enabled interface, Interactive IO allows you to send

any command in the 34945A SCPI command set to the instrument. Interactive

IO can be used to:
