Shuttle Components

The shuttle is made up of the following components:
• Carriage
• Ink System
•

Color Ink Refill Cabinet

•

Specialty Ink Refill Cabinet

•

Operator Maintenance Cabinet

• Led Protection Unit

Carriage

The carriage is the part of the shuttle that can move up and down by the means of two stepper motors
in order to accommodate different media thicknesses, up to 50 mm. The carriage contains:
• Eight or ten color bars

(outlined in red in Fig.3-4)

depending on options.

• Two UV curing modules

(outlined in green in Fig.3-4)

• Two LED Protection Units

(outlined in green in Fig.3-5)

•

Two collision sensors (CS)

(outlined in blue in Fig.3-5)

•

One anti-static ionizer (AS)

(outlined in red in Fig.3-5)
