Clearing Errors

Perform the following procedure to clear system errors.

Procedure: How to Clear Errors

Step 1: Locate the system posts icon in the “Incident box” of the GUI bottom status bar when a

question, a warning, a service request, an incident or a failure occurs.

- Step 2: Move the mouse over the icon in the bottom status bar and get a description of the incident.

Step 3: Double click on the bottom status bar error icon to open the Engine Message Overview

window. The complete incident description is available in this window

(see Fig.5-43)

- Step 4: If you are not in the engine message overview, you can open this window by double clicking

the error symbol in the status bar.

Important: For a quick and efficient service, make sure you note and communicate to your

service organization the error ID as indicated in the first column of the Messages area of the Engine
Message Overview window.
