Refilling the Primary Ink Tanks
The color ink refill cabinet is located at the input home side of the Jeti Tauro H3300LED behind two
red operator doors. It houses six Ink Supply Systems (ISS) for the six primary colors: black, cyan,
magenta, yellow, light cyan and light black inks, respectively labeled K, C, M, Y, Lc and Lk. The
cabinet behind two red operator doors at the side of the machine houses two Ink Supply Systems (ISS)
for special color: white and primer inks, respectively labeled W, P. Each ISS includes the following:
• an 8 liter tank,
• an LED,
• a level sensor,
• a pump,
•
a filter,
• an inlet blade,
•
stirrer motor (white only).
This section provides procedures for loading ink in the main ink tanks. The bottles of ink contain 5 liters
for all colors, 4.5 liters for white and 3 liters for primer.
The printer is equipped with a scanning and ink supply monitoring system. Several containers can
be refilled at the same time after scanning the bottles; Refill is possible during printing & standby.
Important:
• Ensure to wear protective clothing safety glasses, and nitrile gloves.
•
Always scan the label of the bottle, before filling (if not, there will be an error code generated,
and the machine will be blocked).
Checking if an Ink Refill is Needed
The GUI posts an ISS LOW level warning when one Ink Supply System (ISS) contains less than 15%
of the full tank capacity. The ink system should only be filled when a warning is displayed informing
the operator that the ink level of a certain color is running low (see Fig.5-30 and Fig.5-31).
