Jeti Tauro H3300LED Operator Manual

Chapter 5

Power Cycling the Complete System

Under some circumstances, (for example, connecting or disconnecting a peripheral device) the entire

system needs a complete power down. Therefore, Agfa recommends to always perform the following
procedure before calling for support.

Note

: Refer to Procedure: “

How to Switch the Engine Off for a Short Period

” for details about the first

five steps of the following procedure.

Procedure: How to Power Cycle the Complete System

Step 1: Turn the Jeti Tauro H3300LED modules off See Procedure: How to Switch the Engine Off for a

Short Period

Step 4: Turn the printer mains switch OFF.

- Step 5: Restart the operating system of the GUI computer from the bottom left Windows® icon.

Step 6: Wait for the GUI computer initialization completion.

Step 7: Perform a normal system start up as documented in Procedure: “

How to Perform the Daily

Start-up

”.

Procedure: How to Recover After a Power Cut During Printing

Step 1: Open the operator access door.

- Step 2: Manually move the shuttle above the drip tray and avoid staining the media drive belt. The

shuttle air supply is off when the Jeti Tauro H3300LED power supply is missing and the print heads
could start dripping ink.

Danger: Take care not to touch the UV LED modules when pushing the shuttle home!

Step 3: Turn the main switch in to the OFF position.

Reporting an Error

For a quick and efficient service:

- Contact your local point of contact

Note and communicate to your service organization the error ID and the circumstance of the error

occurrence.
