• Sub tank is pre filling
The nominal sub tank temperature is 40°C.
The Shuttle status overview also provides the Purge Colorbars button
(outlined in yellow in Fig.6-6 on page
75)
to prepare the print heads for a manual cleaning ( see also Purging and Cleaning
the Print Heads ). Clicking the Purge Colorbars button opens the Purge Colorbars pop up
window

You can select the Colorbar(s) that need purging and the duration (in seconds) of the purge sequence.
In normal conditions, the default settings are kept (such as, all Colorbars purged for 3 seconds).
During the purge process, the system applies a slight air pressure to the selected Colorbar sub tank
to push ink through the print head nozzles. The aim of this process is to unclog the print head nozzles
and prepare the print heads for a manual cleaning.
