New Feature: Activation of a new 10x12” Layout for GE Modalities  

 

New Feature 

  For some GE modalities, e.g. GE Senographe Advantage WS, the sent image is 

slightly too large compared to the pixel matrix of the 10x12” film. 

  In order to achieve true size accuracy lower than 4 % (GE specifications) on 

10x12” films it is necessary to install a specific GE Mammography layout. 
This increases the printable area in the 12” direction of the film from 5810 to 5890 
pixels (approx. 4 mm). 

  This layout should only be installed if advised via corresponding Connectivity 

Release Document: If installed, it is active for all other modalities, too. 

  It is installed via browser menu service tools “GE Mammo layout installation”.
