1 Adjustments
Following adjustments have to be performed at the printer:

Horizontal
film
alignment in case after TH replacement the blank left / right
frame on a SMPTE test image is < 1,5 mm for DT2B /
DT2C films or < 1 mm for DT 2 Mammo Films 1.1
1.1 Horizontal Film Alignment Procedure
WHEN TO BE
PERFORMED The horizontal film alignment is necessary when:
•
The TPH has been replaced and
•
the blank frame at the left and right hand side on a SMPTE test image is
o
< 1,5 mm for DT2B / DT2C Films
o
< 1 mm for DT 2 Mammo Films.
PURPOSE
Centering the image on the film: Compensate for mechanical tolerances of the
thermal head mounting.
REQUIRED TOOLS:
Ruler to measure in the range up to 15 mm
REQUIRED TIME:
10 min.
NOTE:
The horizontal film alignment can be performed via browser user interface or the local
keypad. The required time and proceeding is identical.
It can be performed at any film size.
