Spanning Tree Tx
Click the drop-down menu to configure the maximum number of BPDUs the bridge
Hold Count
is allowed to send within the hello time window. The valid range is 1 to 10. The
default value is 6.
BPDU Guard
Click the drop-down menu to enable or disable BPDU guard. The default is Dis-
able.
BPDU Filter
Click the drop-down menu to enable or disable the BPDU Filter to filter the BPDU
traffic on the edge ports. The possible values are Enable or Disable. The value is
disabled by default.
Spanning Tree Tx
Enter a value (1 to 10) to set the Tx holding counter.
Hold Count
Time Since Topol-
Displays the time in seconds since the topology of the CST last changed.
ogy Change
Topology Change
Displays the number of times topology has changed for the CST.
Count
Topology Change
Displays the value of the topology change parameter for the switch indicating if a
topology change is in progress on any port assigned to the CST. It takes a value if
True or False.
Designated Root
Displays the bridge identifier of the root bridge. It is made up from the bridge prior-
ity and the base MAC address of the bridge.
Root Path Cost
Displays the path Cost to the Designated Root for the CST.
Root Port
Displays the port to access the Designated Root for the CST.
Max Age (secs)
Displays the path Cost to the Designated Root for the CST.
Forward Delay
Displays the derived value in seconds of the Root Port Bridge Forward Delay
(secs)
parameter.
Hold Time (secs)
Displays the minimum time in seconds between transmissions of Configuration
BPDUs.
CST Regional Root
Displays the priority and base MAC address of the CST Regional Root.
CST Path Cost
Displays the path cost to the CST tree Regional Root.
Submit
Click
Submit
to update the switch with the values on the screen. If you want the
switch to retain the new values across a power cycle you must perform a save.
Refresh
Click
Refresh
to update the data on the screen with the present state of the data in
the switch.
