In addition to the basic SIP settings, you can also configure the following advanced SIP parameters. These parameters 
may be configurable via the Aastra Web UI and/or the configuration files.

Explicit MWI Subscription

sip explicit mwi subscription

If the IP phone has a message waiting subscription with the Service Pro-
vider, a Message Waiting Indicator (MWI) (LED or display icon) tells the user 
there is a message on the IP Phone. You can enable and disable MWI by set-
ting this parameter to 0 (disable) or 1 (enable) in the configuration files or 
by checking the box for this field in the Aastra Web UI. Default is disabled.
