LABEL DESCRIPTION
Summary
Rule Name This is the name of the VPN connection (and VPN gateway).
Secure
Gateway This is the WAN IP address or domain name of the remote IPSec router. If this field
displays
Any , only the remote IPSec router can initiate the VPN connection.
Pre-Shared
Key This is a pre-shared key identifying a communicating party during a phase 1 IKE
negotiation.
Local Policy This is a (static) IP address and Subnet Mask on the LAN behind your ZyWALL.
Remote
Policy This is a (static) IP address and Subnet Mask on the network behind the remote
IPSec router. If this field displays
Any , only the remote IPSec router can initiate the
VPN connection.
Configuration
for Remote
Gateway These commands set the matching VPN connection settings for the remote gateway.
If the remote gateway is a ZLD-based ZyWALL, you can copy and paste this list into
its command line interface in order to configure it for the VPN tunnel.
You can also use a text editor to save these commands as a shell script file with a
“.zysh” filename extension. Then you can use the file manager to run the script in
order to configure the VPN connection.
