to drop frames from the source MAC address (specified in the

field). The Switch can still send frames to the MAC address.

to drop frames to the destination MAC address (specified in the

address). The Switch can still receive frames originating from the MAC address.

Type a MAC address in a valid MAC address format, that is, six hexadecimal character pairs.

Type the VLAN group identification number.

changes if it is turned off or loses power, so use the

link on the top navigation panel to
save your changes to the non-volatile memory when you are done configuring.

This field displays the index number of the rule. Click an index number to change the settings.

This field displays

when the rule is activated and

Name
This field displays the descriptive name for this rule. This is for identification purposes only.
MAC
Address
This field displays the source/destination MAC address with the VLAN identification number to
which the MAC address belongs.
VID
This field displays the VLAN group identification number.
Delete
Check the rule(s) that you want to remove in the
Delete
column and then click the
Delete
button.
Cancel
Click
Cancel
to clear the selected checkbox(es) in the
Delete
column.
