37.5.1 DHCPv6 Options Profile
Use this screen to create DHCPv6 options profiles. Click
IP Application >
DHCP > DHCPv6
in the
navigation panel and click the
Options Profile
link to display the screen as shown.

DESCRIPTION
Name
Enter a descriptive name for the profile for identification purposes. You can use up to 32
ASCII characters. Spaces are allowed.
Option 18
Interface ID
Select
Enable
to have the Switch add the interface-ID option in the DHCPv6 requests from
the clients before the Switch forwards them to a DHCPv6 server.
Enter a string of up to 64 printable characters to be carried in the interface-ID option.
Option 37
Remote ID
Select
Enable
to have the Switch add the remote-ID option in the DHCPv6 requests from
the clients before the Switch forwards them to a DHCPv6 server.
Select
mac
to have the Switch add its MAC address to the client DHCPv6 requests that it
relays to a DHCP server.
Enter a string of up to 64 printable characters to be carried in the remote-ID option.
Option 38
Subscriber-ID
Select
Enable
to have the Switch add the Subscriber-ID option to client DHCPv6 requests
that it relays to a DHCPv6 server.
Select
slot-port
to have the Switch add the number of port that the DHCPv6 client is
connected to.
Enter a string of up to 64 printable characters to be carried in the subscriber-ID option.
