Electromagnetic Compatibility Compliance - Data Modem
The CoolSculpting System with the data modem complies with the following medical safety standards:
•
EN 60601-1-2: 2007 (provides the presumption of compliance to the Medical Device Directive 93 / 42 / EEC
as amended by 2007 / 47 / EC).
The limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a typical medical
installation. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and
used in accordance with the instruction manual, may cause harmful interference to radio communications.
There is no guarantee that interference will be prevented by following the manufacturer
’
s instructions in a
particular installation.
If this equipment causes interference with other devices, which may be determined by turning the equipment
off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by carrying out one or more of the
following measures:
•
Reorient or relocate the device receiving the interference.
•
Increase the separation between the equipment and the device receiving the interference.
•
Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the other device(s) are
connected.
•
Consult the manufacturer or field service technician for help.
Data Modem - Canada
The CoolSculpting System with the data modem complies with RSS-210 of Industry Canada. Operation is
subject to the following two conditions:

This device may not cause interference;
2.
This device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation
of the device.
Data Modem - European Union
CE Notice (European Notice): The Conformité Européenne symbol found on this product indicates compliance
to the Medical Device (93 / 42 / EEC) and Radio and Telecommunications Terminal Equipment (1999 / 5 / EC)
Directives of the European Union.

The CoolSculpting System with the data modem has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class
A digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable
protection against harmful interference when the equipment is operated in a commercial environment. This
equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance
with the instruction manual, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. Operation of this
equipment in a residential area is likely to cause harmful interference in which case the user will be required to
correct the interference at his own expense.
