Wire Ferrules:
10 AWG wire ferrules are intended to preclude the onset of stray/loose wire strands or “bird
caging” of the conductor during installation and improve the integrity of the termination. The use of the wire
ferrules is not mandatory and shall not void the product warranty if not used.
Ferrules are not provided by Yaskawa Solectria Solar.
DC Fuseholder Torque Specification
The inverter wiring box may be assembled using fuse holders supplied by either Sinofuse or Mersen (Ferraz
Shamut). The touch safe fuse holders have unique terminal torque values specified by their manufacturers. The
fuse holders can be identified by color markings; Sinofuse-White, and Mersen-Orange. See Table 3-7 for specified
torque values.
