TIP
While holding the secondary sheave with the
sheave holder “2”, tighten the secondary sheave
nut with the locknut wrench “3”.
2. Install:
• Clutch housing “1”
• Spacer
• O-rings
• Clutch housing nut “2”
TIP
While holding the clutch housing with the sheave
holder “3”, tighten the clutch housing nut.
3. Install:
• Primary sliding sheave assembly “1”
TIP
When installing the primary sliding sheave as-
sembly, hold the cam to prevent the primary
sheave weights from falling out of the primary
sliding sheave.
4. Install:
• V-belt “1”
NOTICE
ECA21720
Do not allow grease to come in contact with
the V-belt.
TIP
• Install the V-belt with the printed arrow mark on
the V-belt facing in the direction shown in the il-
lustration.
• Install the V-belt onto the primary sheave side.
5. Install:
• Primary fixed sheave “1”
• One-way clutch
