• Conical spring washer “2”
• Primary fixed sheave nut “3”
TIP
• Install the conical spring washer with the mark
“a” facing outward.
• Install the V-belt in the primary sheave (when
the pulley is at its widest position) and in the
secondary sheave (when the pulley is at its
narrowest position), and make sure the V-belt
is tight.
NOTICE
ECA21730
Do not allow grease to contact the primary
sheave assembly.
6. Tighten:
• Primary fixed sheave nut “1”
TIP
While holding the primary fixed sheave with the
rotor holding tool “2”, tighten the primary fixed
sheave nut.

INSTALLING THE V-BELT CASE
1. Install:
• V-belt case air duct “1”
TIP
Be sure to fit the projection “a” on the V-belt case
air duct between the projections “b” on the V-belt
case.
2. Install:
• V-belt case air filter element “1”
TIP
Make sure that the projection “a” on the V-belt
case fits into the hole “b” in the V-belt case air fil-
ter element.
3. Install:
• V-belt case air filter element support “1”
TIP
When installing the V-belt case air filter element
support, make sure that the ends “a” of the ribs
on the V-belt case air filter element cover “2” pro-
trude past the support.
