Before uploading the stored results in the instrument or upgrading the embedded software
by TestManagerPro, user should configure the RS232 port firstly as described in Table 27.
RS232 Port

ON
The instrument can communicate with PC via the RS232
interface.

The communication with PC via RS232 interface will be
prohibited.

Caution:
Before communicating with PC, make sure to set the RS232 port as
ON
. When
the RS232 port state is configured as
ON
, other operations of the instrument
will be disabled. The displays will be locked temporarily before the port state
becomes
OFF
. Please disable the port state as
OFF
when the communication
with PC is completed, to perform other operations.

Keyboard Test
”
function can detect whether the keyboard of the instrument functions
properly or not. Except for the
“
Power
”
key, all other functional keys can be tested.
The keyboard test can be performed one by one according to the prompt information in
displays. In the process of keyboard test, all the functional keys including the
“
Power
”
key are locked and only valid for use after the test.
