[Function] (1) Sets up the print area width specified using nL and nH.
(2) The print area width is [(nL+nH×256)×basic calculated pitch] inches.
(3) This command is valid only when entered at the beginning of the line.
(4) When page mode is selected, entering this command manipulates only the
internal flags of the printer.
(5) The command does not affect page mode.
(6) If a value exceeding the printable area of one line is entered, the entire area
excluding the left margin is set up as the print area width.
(7) The basic calculated pitch is set up using the Set horizontal and vertical motion
unit (GS P). In addition, the specified print area width will not be changed even
if the basic calculated pitch is changed using the Set horizontal and vertical
motion unit (GS P) after the print area width has been set up.
(8) The horizontal motion unit (x) of the Set horizontal and vertical motion unit
(GS P) is used for calculating the print area width.
(9) If the calculation result contains a fraction, the value is corrected using the
minimum pitch of the mechanism. The remainder is then discarded.
