8.3 Installing the ASM onto a Watkiss Manual Trimmer
PARTS REQUIRED
TOOLS REQUIRED
940-075 Interface Kit, ASM to Manual Trimmer
952-043 Allen Key ‘L’ - 2.0mm
952-045 Allen Key ‘L’ - 3.0mm
952-060 Spanner, 5.5mm AF
1.
Disconnect the VTR from the mains power supply.
2.
Remove the Rear Inspection Plate and discard.
3.
Disconnect the cable to PL2 on the Trimmer Interface
PCB (900-118).
4.
Fit the Interface Socket and Cable Assembly to the new
Rear Inspection Plate. Fit the securing wire of the Bypass
Plug under one of the Socket Retaining Screws.
5.
Connect the Interface Cable to Connector PL2 on the
Trimmer Interface PCB (900-118) and re-connect the
previously disconnected cable to the Connector on the
Interface Cable. Fit the new Rear Inspection Plate to the
machine.
6.
Fit the Green earthwire under a suitable M5 screw.
