HEALTH AND SAFETY
6.1
Standard worker safety personal protective equipment (PPE) should be observed
when using this procedure.
6.2
In the warmer months be aware of the possibility of snakes and stinging insects.
7.0
RESPONSIBILITY
7.1
The Quality Assurance Manager (QA Manager) is responsible for:
7.1.1
Administering principals to assure adherence to procedures and policies
found in the QAPP current version.
7.2
The EC is responsible for:
7.2.1
Ensuring the field staff sample technician(s) are properly trained.
7.2.2
Reviewing analysis of the TLD to determine any corrective actions that
need to be taken if necessary.
7.3
The field staff sample technician is responsible for:
7.3.1
Having all necessary materials and supplies prior to going to the TLD
sample stations for retrieval and replacement.
7.3.2
Advising the EC of any deviations from the planned activities or problems
encountered during sample TLD recovery or installation that may affect
analysis results.
7.3.3
Following instructions as outlined in this procedure.
