If river flow is either too low, too high or dangerous conditions exist, collect grab
samples from appropriate locations in river.
8.11.1
Begin to obtain sample by selecting locations on both sides of the river
channel for collection of grab samples. When taking a grab sample a
bucket will be used to dip a sufficient amount of water from both sides of
the river and pouring the water into a churnsplitter.

Fill out SSTF as required.
8.13
Fill out field sampling logbook or equivalent with all necessary information.
8.14
Maintain Chain of Custody per SOP-E-160 and QAPP current version
8.15
Decontaminate equipment using Procedure SOP-E-044.
