To switch the light off, set the on/off switch to the “OFF” or “0”
position.

Make sure to regularly check that the headlight is prop-
erly set to the correct height.

Vertical mounting

Check whether the bracket is vertically aligned with the head
tube when looking at it from the front.
2. To adjust the bracket, unscrew screw 1 anti-clockwise until
the bracket is loose enough to be turned (see Fig.
“Adjusting
screws”
).
3. Turn the bracket so it is vertically aligned with the head tube
when viewed from the front.

Carefully tighten Screw 1 clockwise.

Horizontal setting
1.
Check to ensure that the headlight is correctly vertically
aligned.
2.
Loosen Screw 2 anti-clockwise until it is loose enough to tip
the headlight forwards and backwards with only slight resist-
ance.
3. Switch the headlight on.
4. Adjust the headlight in such a way that the beam of light
is only half as high 5 m away as at its point of origin (see
Fig.
“Headlight range”
).

Carefully tighten Screw 2 clockwise.
