Closing the clamping lever on the handle-
bar
To close, turn the clamping
lever downwards (see Fig.“-
Closing the clamping lever”).
•
Affix the front wheel and
check whether the han-
dlebar and head tube are
secure by moving the han-
dlebar back and forth.
•
If the head tube is not
secure or you are able
to twist the handlebar,
adjust the clamping
lever.

Preparing the handlebar for folding
1. Open the clamping lever on
the handlebar.
2. Turn the handlebar until
the brake levers are in an
upright position.

Close the clamping lever

Settings
If you lack the necessary expertise or correct tools to adjust the
clamping lever, have your specialist dealer adjust it for you.
1. Open the clamping lever.
2. Turn the adjusting screw inwards one quarter of a turn.
3.
Close the clamping lever and check that the handlebar is
secure.
4. Repeat the process until the handlebar is completely secure
when the clamping lever is closed.
•
If you cannot successfully adjust the handlebar, you should
ask your specialist dealer to inspect the clamping lever.
Please note that the maximum clamping force of the clamping
lever is 8 Nm.
10.3
Fastener on the head tube
10.3.1
Basic information
The folding hinge fastener on the head tube allows you to prepare
the head tube for folding quickly and without the use of tools.
1. Open and close the fastener on the head tube and listen for
unusual noises.
•
If you hear any unusual noises, you should ask your spe-
cialist dealer to inspect the fastener.
2.
Clean the fastener.
3.
Close and lock the fastener on the head tube.
