open fastener on the head tube
1. Push the safety pin.
2. To close, turn the clamping lever downwards (see Fig.
“Unlock-
ing the head tube”
).
3. Hold the handlebar firmly.
4. Flip down the head tube.

Close fastener on the head tube
1. Flip up the head tube.
2.
Make sure that the latch locks into the groove.
3. Fold down the clamping
lever to the head tube until
it touches the head tube
and you can hear and feel
the fastener lock into place
(see Fig.
“Locking the head
tube”
).
4.
Check whether the fastener is
locked properly by pulling on
the clamping lever.
•
If you cannot lock the fastener properly, ask your specialist
dealer to inspect the fastener.

Settings
•
If you are unable to close the fastener properly, do not continue
to ride your folding bicycle.
• Ask your specialist dealer to inspect the fastener.
10.4
Seat post clamp
10.4.1
Basic information
The clamping lever on the seat post clamp makes it possible for
you to adjust the saddle quickly and without using tools, or prepare
the bicycle for folding.
1. Open and close the clamping lever and listen for unusual
noises.
