7.3.35 Computer Entering Suspend Mode
Computer Entering Suspend Mode
This code is given when VibrationVIEW is running a test, the computer is running on batteries (or
UPS), and the battery level is low. The test is stopped in order to allow the computer to switch into
suspend or hibernate mode before the batteries are completely exhausted.
7.3.36 Lost Contact
Lost contact with I/O box n (
Sine Stop Code
)
This code indicates that the
VibrationVIEW
I/O box is no longer communicating with the host computer.
Verify that:
·
The Ethernet cables are connected properly.
·
The box is powered.
7.3.37 Max Sine Acceleration
Max Sine Acceleration (
Sine Stop Code
)
This error code indicates that an input has exceeded the configured acceleration limit for that channel,
or has exceeded the maximum acceleration allowed for the system.
If this error code indicates a specific channel number (for example, "Max Sine Acceleration on channel
2"), then the abort is due to a specific channel exceeding the limits configured for that channel.
Individual channel limits can be either Extremal limits (as configured on the
), or can
selected for comparison against the system limits, using the 'System Limits Apply' column on the
.
If a specific channel number is not given, then this code indicates that the control acceleration value
exceeded the maximum acceleration allowed for the system.
Note
: the acceleration limit for the system is a combination of the Force rating of the shaker system
dialog box) and the moving mass of the shaker, fixture, and product
dialog box) using Newton's first law of motion, commonly written as F
= m*a, but which can also be written as
a = F/m
where:
F = maximum Force the shaker can produce
m = mass that the shaker must move (sum of the system masses)
a = maximum acceleration the shaker can achieve for this mass
If the configured system limits are being reached, then either the parameters in the System Limits
and/or System Mass dialog boxes need to be adjusted to better reflect the capabilities of your shaker,
or the current test requires a larger shaker than you are using.
7.3.38 Max Sine Displacement
Max Sine Displacement (
Sine Stop Code
)
This error code indicates that an input has exceeded the configured displacement limit for that channel,
or has exceeded the maximum displacement allowed for the system.
