6 CONTROL SYSTEM
6.1 OPERATOR INTERFACE
6.1.1 OVERVIEW
The operator interface is a 12 inch colour touch screen panel. From this panel the process can be
monitored and controlled. After a power cycle and a short time later (as the HMI reboots) the System
Menu screen will be seen. This is the default screen which is displayed after every power cycle.
The System Menu screen is split into a number of sections, namely:-
Screens
System Cleaning Routines
System Configuration
Commissioning / Diagnostics
Command Buttons and Status Information.
The time and date is also shown (top right on every screen) and is only used to determine when a
scheduled hot water sanitisation start is pending and to validate engineer access keys
.
6.1.2 DEVICE COLOURS
The digital inputs / outputs are animated according to the following rules:-
Rule One
Items which only have digital outputs are animated grey while de-energised, and green while
energised.
