B.5 Discover Mode

For dual ended V-Perf testing, the Air Expert needs to detect V-Probe, which can be done through Local and Remote Discovery.

Local Discovery should be used when the V-Probe and Air Expert are in the same network.

Remote Discover should be used if the V-Probe is located on a public IP address and the Air Expert is located in a private

network. An external XMPP registration server can be used to register. Contact Customer support for instructions on how to setup

registration

Contact VeEX customer support for information about XMPP server configuration.

B.6.1 Reboot

Click on System Tools >

Reboot.

Click

Reboot

when prompted to reboot the unit.

B.6.2 Software Upgrade

1. Download the V-Probe software file from VeEX’s website and save it locally onto the PC.

2. Connect to the V-Probe IP address from the web browser. Click on

3. Open the PC folder where the V-Probe software is stored.

4. Click

Update

to start the software upgrade process.

5. Refresh the web browser page when the upgrade process is complete and connect to V-Probe.
