7.8.1 Building a method
A method consists of a sequence of timed event command lines
each one having been assigned a unique set of detector
parameters. They can be run for a defined period of time and are
totally independent of each other.
Each command line appears in the Lines column and is specified
in minutes.
There is a basic default method stored in each detector with a
single command line beginning at time 0.00.
This line cannot be modified nor deleted.
To add a line to a method, select the Add Line button. You will
now activate the Editing mode function and the top of the
parameter’s window will indicate this accordingly.
This will enable all entry fields in the Parameters & Method
Head columns to be programmed.
A maximum of 50 lines per method may be added.
