[Essential tools] Industrial-purpose alcohol
[Replace when] The seal becomes messy, etc.
The silicone rubber is either sold individually or
included in the maintenance parts kit.

Remove the 13mm-width glass tape adhered on
the silicone rubber (white).

Remove the silicone rubber (white).

Completely remove the adhesive residues using
industrial purpose alcohol (ethanol).

Remove the paper liner from the new silicone
rubber. Adhere the new silicone rubber to the
pressure lever (to the part indicated in gray in
the right illustration) starting from the edge.

Adhere a strip of new 13mm-width glass tape
over the silicone rubber white.

Referring to
“10-2 Heating element
replacement >>> Upper heating element
replacement (for V-301-10DK),”
remove the
13mm-width glass tape and heating element on
the upper lever.

Remove the 13mm-width glass tape adhered to
the silicone rubber.

Remove the silicone rubber.

Completely remove the adhesive residues using
industrial purpose alcohol (ethanol).

Remove the paper liner from the new silicone
rubber. Adhere the new silicone rubber to the
pressure lever (to the part indicated in gray in
the right illustration) starting from the edge.

Adhere a strip of new 13mm-width glass tape
over the silicone rubber white.

Mount a heating element removed at 1.

Adhere a strip of new 13mm-width glass tape
over the heating element.

removing the sponge holder and parts
around it.
