OVERVIEW - SECTION B
BOILER / HIGH TEMP ZONES
The SYSTEMpro 311 can provide a reset supply water
temperature from the primary boiler loop to high temp mix
loops. Boiler zones piped into the primary loop will receive the
same water temperature as the current boiler supply
temperature. The boiler supply temperature is automatically
adjusted by the SYSTEMpro 311 based on the following
information you must enter into the control's Adjust Menu.
NOTE:
The SYSTEMpro 311 will automatically
calculate a reset ratio based on the data you input.
OUTDOOR DESIGN (OUT DSGN)
(See fig. a)
• The OUT DSGN is set to the outdoor design temperature
used on the heat-loss analysis for the project
BOILER DESIGN (Boil DSGN)
(See fig. b)
• The Boil DSGN temperature is the temperature the supply
water must be heated to heat the boiler zones when the
outdoor air is at the OUT DSGN temperature
BOILER MINIMUM (Boil MIN)
(See fig. c)
• The Boil MIN is the lowest water temperature that the control
is allowed to use as a boiler target temperature (Refer to the
boiler manufacturer’s literature)
• During mild conditions, if the control calculates a Boil TRG
temperature below the Boil MIN setting, the Boil TRG
temperature adjusts to at least the Boil MIN setting
NOTE:
During this condition, if the boiler is
operating near the Boil MIN setting, the Minimum
pointer turns on while the Boil TRG or Boil SUP
temperature is viewed
• If the installed boiler is designed for condensing operation,
set the Boil MIN adjustment to OFF
