SAFETY BARRIER INFORMATION
WARNING:
A BARRIER DESIGNED TO REDUCE THE RISK OF BURNS
FROM THE HOT VIEWING GLASS IS PROVIDED WITH THIS
APPLIANCE AND SHALL BE INSTALLED FOR THE PROTECTION
OF CHILDREN AND OTHER AT-RISK INDIVIDUALS. IF THE
BARRIER BECOMES DAMAGED, THE BARRIER SHALL BE
REPLACED WITH THE MANUFACTURER’S BARRIER FOR THIS
APPLIANCE. ONLY DOORS CERTIFIED WITH THE APPLIANCE
SHALL BE USED.
IMPORTANT:
CONSIDER THE HEIGHT OF HEARTH FINISH MATERIAL WHEN
BUILDING A PLATFORM. PROPER INSTALLATION OF SAFETY
BARRIERS WITH AN OVERLAP FIT DESIGN REQUIRE THE
BOTTOM OF THE FIREPLACE TO BE LEVEL WITH FINISHED
HEARTH.
Do not operate this fireplace without a safety barrier. Only
safety barriers certified with the appliance shall be used.
1. Insert the view cover into the slots on the bottom arms of
the safety barrier.
2. Locate the top trim piece, align the top trim flush with the
top of the unit. Use three (3)#10 X 1/2 self drilling screws
to secure into place. NOTE: The top trim piece is longer
than the two side trim pieces.

3. Align the side trim flush with the side of the unit as shown
and secure with three (3)#10 X 1/2 self drilling screws.
Repeat this step for the other side of the unit
