3.6.3 Input/output terminals
The RS232/485 communication and inputs/outputs must be connected to the terminals provided for this,
after passing the cables through cable glands the furthest on the right. It is recommended to use at least
category 5 shielded cable of folded twisted pair-type. The cable diameter should be between 6 and 12 mm.
To connect the shielding, it is recommended that the same precautions are followed as for the ultrasonic
chords (copper tape). Shield connection jumpers are provided for each of the cables.
The input and output module terminals are identified by a
label indicating their pin configuration. One to four
modules are fitted by Ultraflux in the workshop depending
on the options ordered by the customer.
After checking that these input/output modules have been actually activated through the CONFIGURATION
menu, their allocation to the different connectors (1/A to 4/B) is available in the input and output
configuration menu. More often than not, the modules furthest to the right (module 1, etc.) correspond to
single 4/20 mA outputs and the ones next to this, to double relay modules.
Please refer to the tables below for the wiring to be carried out according to each type of module.
