To change a parameter on a page, select it using
p
or
q
and change its value using the keys
u
(increase) and
t
(decrease). Pressing and holding one of these two keys accelerates the increase or
decrease.
N.B.
-
If you are on the first parameter of a page, pressing
p
will send you to the last parameter of
the previous page (and conversely if you were on the last parameter of the page).
-
The same last page / first page loop process is carried out as for changing page using "A" and
"B".
•
Holding down the
"Fn"
key, or allowing approximately 1 minute to pass without using the keypad,
returns you to "measurement" mode (by default, to the previously selected screen).
•
Special feature of the "echo display" menu: the flow rate measurement is interrupted when the echo
display is being used.
"Measurement" Mode:
•
After powering on the Uf 841, the machine moves into measurement mode after a few seconds and
displays the screen (or page) that was previously selected as priority. To choose this "default"
screen, select and validate it by pressing "
B
" in
Measurement
mode.
•
To scroll through the measurement screens, use the
p
and
q
keys.
•
Pressing
"Fn"
switches the machine to
Configuration
mode on the "Configuration" menu.
5.1.3 LEDs
There are two LEDs on the front panel:
•
Blue measurement LED:
indicates whether or not the flow meter is measuring.
o
A flashing LED indicates normal operation.
o
An LED which is fixed on or off indicates abnormal or interrupted operation.
Warning: the flow meter may be in measurement mode (inputs-outputs, function loggers, etc.) without
the probes being connected.
•
Red, orange or green communication LED:
indicates the status of the external communication of the
flow meter (serial link of USB).
o
Flashing green light for each dialogue on the serial link.
o
Long red flashing light on each dialogue error on the serial link.
o
Fixed orange light when the flow calculation is in degraded mode or when a related function
is faulty.
o
Fixed red light when the flow calculation is faulty.
