The options proposed by the 4 main menus are:
•
"File" menu – to:
o
Open a measurement, configuration or logger file (using the
"open"
command),
o
Create a configuration file (using the
"new"
command),
o
Close the program (using the "exit" command).
•
"Dialogue" menu (with the flow meter) – to:
o
Call up the measurement window,
o
Call up the settings window,
o
Change the access code,
o
Download logger data from the flow meter to the PC,
o
View the echo display,
o
Save all settings of the flow meter.
•
"Configuration" menu – to:
o
Configure the PC software,
o
Load the configuration file,
o
Save the configuration file.
•
"About" menu – to:
o
Obtain information on the version of the PC software.
7.1.2 Connecting the flow meter to the PC
To connect the Uf 841 to the PC, you must connect the lead provided (serial link or USB cable). The
exchanges are made in the JBus/ModBus protocol, the PC being the master and the Uf 841, identified by its
number, being the slave.
7.1.3 Home page
When run, the software displays the following window:
This window contains 4 main menus:
- "File",
- "Dialogue",
- "Configuration",
- "About".
First open the Configuration menu to define the
settings relating to your application.
