5.1 Using the Uf 841
Before using the unit, the user instructions NT300, supplied with the unit, must be consulted.
The UF 841 has a screen and a keypad which can be used to configure and view the measurements as they
are taken. LEDs indicate the status of the measurement and of the flow meter communication.
To access the keypad, the front cover must be opened. A fire permit may be compulsory for this type of
operation. Generally, before use, please read the safety rules for the site where the machine is installed.
5.1.1 Operating mode
Uf 841 flow meters have 2 different operating modes:
•
Measurement Mode (flow rate, velocity, gain, quality index, etc.) grouping together the
measurement screens,
•
Configuration Mode (section description, logger, etc.) grouping together the configuration screens as
well as the echo display screens (display of electric pulses generated by the probes).
