Hoists with secondary brake BSO:
See Fig. 6.
–
Open the secondary brake: Turn the manual lever (1)
clockwise until it latches into place.
Free reeler
See Fig. 10.
–
Roll-off the rope correctly so that no loops in the rope occur.
–
Push the double clamp (1) (limit switch UP) and the spring
(2) onto the rope.
–
If a deflection roller, swivel pulley, or secondary brake BSO
is used: Feed the end of the rope through the deflection
roller, swivel pulley or secondary brake BSO.
–
Push the end of the rope as far as possible into the infeed
tube on the hoist.
–
Switch on the hoist in the pulling direction.
–
Push the rope until it feeds in on its own.
–
Stop the hoist when the rope can be seen through the ser-
vice opening (4) in the free reeler (3).
–
Pull the end of the rope out through the service opening (4).
–
Slide 2 x adjustment rings (5) onto the rope and screw them
in place approx. 10 cm behind the rope tip.
–
Push the rope end back into the service opening.
–
Switch the hoist on in the lifting direction until the remainder
of the rope has been pulled onto the free reeler.
–
Attach the double clamps (1) for the limit switch UP near the
press clamps for the hook.
Driven reeler
ATTENTION!
Damage due to incorrectly adjusted clutch!
The required clutch force depends on the rope weight on the
driven reeler. If the clutch force is set too high then this can
result in premature wear or damage. The hoist set up is fac-
tory-made.
–
Do not adjust the clutch force!
See Fig. 18.
Hoists with deflection rollers:
See Fig. 11.
–
Run the hoist in the pulling direction until the rope comes
out of the roller (6).
–
Push the rope until it feeds in on its own.
DANGER!
Danger of being crushed between the rope and the roll-
ers!
–
On further feeding, only switch on the hoist for brief
periods (jog mode).
–
Feed in the rope in jog mode and guide the rope over the
roller (7) and through the rocker (8) of the laying unit by
hand.
Ensure that the rope does not jump sideways from the pul-
ley.
–
Switch on the hoist in the pulling direction and draw in 1 to
2 m of rope:
While drawing in pull the rope downwards out of the
roller (9).
–
Switch the hoist off.
Hoists without deflection rollers:
See Fig. 15.
–
Press the rope guide (7) in the direction of the arrow until
the limit switch (4) is deactivated.
See Fig. 16.
–
Run the hoist in the pulling direction until the rope comes
out of the rope guide (7).
–
Push the rope until it feeds in on its own.
–
Switch on the hoist in the pulling direction and draw in 1 to
2 m of rope:
While drawing in pull the rope upwards out of the rope guide
(7).
–
Switch the hoist off.
Both types:
See Fig. 26.
–
Lock the ropes in the clamp (5).
–
Turn the rope reel manually until the rope is taut.
See Fig. 14.
–
Press the rope flat against the outside wall of the rope reel.
–
Wind up the rope:
The first rope turn on the rope reel provides the basis for
rope winding. The rope guide deposits the rope following the
first rope turn.
You must ensure that the first rope turn is wound on cleanly
and tightly.
See Fig. 18.
–
Attach the double clamps (1) for the limit switch UP near the
press clamps for the hook.
See Fig. 15.
–
Mount the end switch (4).
