Turning on the server

Turning on the server

Check that all the peripheral devices, such as the monitor, keyboard, and mouse, are 
properly connected to the server. 

2

Check that all power cables are connected to grounded AC outlets or an 
uninterruptible power supply (UPS). 

3

Turn on the monitor.

The power indicator (

) lights amber.

4

Open the front panel.

5

Press the power button.

The power indicator (

) lights green.

The server can be started by a service installed on the network using the 

Wake-On-LAN

 function.

TECHNICAL NOTE: Always wait at least 10 seconds between turning the server off
