After Installation (Windows 2000)

- Log on to Windows 2000.
- Insert the SST CD-ROM.
- Open the command prompt.
- Change the current directory to the following:
<CD-ROM>\PUBLIC\UTILS\TOSHIBA\HSBP\Win2k to
<CD-ROM>\PUBLIC\UTILS\TOSHIBA\HSBP\Windows2000
- Enter the following command: INSTALL
- Restart the system.
Confirming and Setting up the Time Zone

Start Windows 2000 and log onto it as the Administrator (or a user having equivalent
rights).

Run Date/Time Properties by clicking Start, Settings, Control panel. Then double
click Date/Time.

Click Time Zone tab.

Check that the current Time Zone setting is correct. If incorrect, select the correct
setting and click OK.
Installing the VIA 4in1 Driver
The necessary modules for the VIA 4in1 driver installation are included on the SST
CD-ROM, as shown below. Install the VIA 4in1 driver by executing SETUP.EXE.

Selecting the Display Driver
After the VIA 4in1 driver installation, follow the steps below:

Start Windows 2000 Server, and log on to Windows 2000 Server as the
Administrator (or a user having equivalent rights).

Run Display Properties from Windows 2000 Server, by clicking Start, Programs,
Administrative Tools, Computer Management, Device Manager, and then select
video controller.

Select the Driver tab, then click Update Driver.

When the Update Device Driver Wizard starts, click Next.

Select Display a list of the known drivers…, then click Next.

Select Display Adapters, then click Next.

Insert the SST CD-ROM, then select Have disk. Enter the following path:
