The Power Button Does Not Function After System Abort
If the system cannot be restarted by pressing the power button after a system abort,
unplug the power cable and plug it back in. Press the power button.
The Internal Clock Does Not Keep Precise Time
Generally, a slight error occurs in clock precision. If the clock is not adjusted for long
periods of time, this error builds up, and may cause system operation to be adversely
affected. To prevent this, periodically adjust the system time.

Remedy When Windows NT/Windows 2000 is Usable
If you cannot solve a problem that has occurred on a system on which Windows NT or
Windows 2000 is used, follow the procedure below. If the procedure does not correct the
problem, contact Toshiba Technical Support. See page 381.
1
Save the System Information for Windows 2000 or the report of the Windows NT
Diagnostic.
2
Note the details of the trouble, how frequently the trouble occurs, the environment
where the trouble occurs, and the method of simulating the trouble.
3
If possible, copy the trouble analysis information to floppy disk, MO Disk or other
storage device so that the information can be retrieved.
4
Execute the Harness Eye/web software, and make sure that there are no erroneous
devices. See chapter 7 of this manual.
5
Execute the utilities for the mounted devices (RAID controller, UPS, etc.), and make
sure that there are no abnormalities.
