Summer mode control
The summer mode control is automatically enabled based on the current outdoor air temperature (OAT). When the
summer mode is activated the system is prevented from operating in space heating mode.
Summer mode is enabled when:
•
OAT > summer mode OAT threshold temperature [P716]
AND
the summer mode ON delay [P717] time has
elapsed
OR
•
The summer switch input, using digital inputs DI#05 ~ DI#08, changes status from OPEN to CLOSED
Summer mode is disabled when:
•
OAT < summer mode OAT threshold temperature [P716] – 2K
AND
the summer mode OFF delay [P718] time
has elapsed
OR
•
The summer switch input, using digital inputs DI#05 ~ DI#08, changes status from CLOSED to OPEN

*Parameter required depends on DI selected. For example if DI#05 is used for the summer switch function
then [P502] needs to be set to 8
Note:
i)
If OAT is not available (OAT sensor not configured or failed) then the summer mode control is reset
If the summer switch (SUMM_SW) is CLOSED then the summer mode is forced to “YES”
8.2.15.
Floor Drying Mode
The floor drying mode allows a gradual water temperature ramp-up, in heating mode, to dry the concrete floor used in
underfloor heating (UFH).
Using the software parameters it is possible to set the start and holding temperatures and the number of days for the
warm-up, ramp-up and hold periods.
At the end of the floor drying cycle the control is automatically STOPPED.
Example application for floor drying mode:
•
Drying starting set point [P595] = 20°C
•
Drying warm-up days [P596] = 3
•
Drying ramp-up days [P597] = 4
•
Drying hold-up days [P598] = 5
Heating home set point [P401] = 28
