SETTING UP TEMPLATES
Templates are used to store scan attributes that end users can
choose when scanning documents at the copier’s control panel.
Scan templates are organized in template groups.
Both templates and template groups can be specified as public or
private. As an administrator, you create public templates, which
are held in a public template group that is available to everyone
who has network access. End users can create private templates
and organize them in private template groups. Alternatively, you
can create private groups and templates on behalf of end users.
To create public templates, first log on as an administrator. Refer
to
Log in as the Administrator
on page 74 for instructions.
