Setting the Date Format
This attribute specifies the format for displaying the date on the
copier.
Note: The default setting depends on the destination code of
the copier. For example, for Japan: Year/Month/Day Europe:
Day/Month/Year North America: Month/Day/Year.
1 In the Copier Settings window, click the Date Format drop-
down menu.
2 Select the date format you require. The options are:
Year.Month.Day, Day.Month.Year, or Month.Day.Year.
3 Click
Save
.
4 Follow the instructions in Applying Your Changes on
page 89.
Setting Up How to Sort
This attribute specifies how the selected controller sorts copy jobs
using the finishing unit. The Sort option outputs all pages of the
first copy of a document, then all pages of the next copy. The
Group option outputs all copies of page 1, then all copies of page
2.
1 In the Copier Settings window, click the Sorter Mode Priority
drop-down menu.
2 Select the option you require: No Sort, Staple, Sort or Group.
3 Click
Save
.
4 Follow the instructions in Applying Your Changes on
page 89.
SETTING PRINTER PREFERENCES
The copier and controller together function as a network printer.
Some options you can set apply specifically to the this printer
functionality. To set these options:
1 Log in as an administrator.
2 Click the
Administration
tab.
3 On the
Device
subtab, click
Printer
.
The Print Settings page opens.
