Replacing the Pump Drive Belt
Service Interval: Every 50 hours—Check the pump drive
belt.
Note:
Remove the PTO drive belt first if the pump drive
belt needs to be replaced.
1. Tilt the seat forward, loosen the bolts and remove the
front engine panel.
2. Remove the PTO drive belt.
3. Remove the spring from the idler arm ( Figure 71 ).
4. Install the new belt around the engine and hydro pump
pulley (
Figure 71 ).
5. Install the PTO drive belt.
6. Install the spring to the idler arm ( Figure 71 ).
7. Install the front engine panel.
