Install the belt guide on the spring loaded idler at a 45
degree angle as shown in

Torque the bolt to 37 to 45 N∙m (27 to 33 ft-lb).

tighten the bolts, and close the latches (

Replacing the PTO Drive Belt
Service Interval:
Every 50 hours—Check the PTO drive
belt.
Important:
The fasteners for the front engine panel are
designed to remain on the machine after cover removal.
Loosen all of the fasteners a few turns so that the panel
is loose but still attached, then go back and loosen them
until the panel comes free. This prevents you from
accidentally stripping the bolts free of the retainers.
1.
Disengage the PTO, move the motion-control levers to
the N
EUTRAL
-
LOCK
position, and set the parking brake.
2.
Shut off the engine, remove the key, and wait for all
moving parts to stop before leaving the operating
position.
3.
Tilt the seat forward, loosen the bolts and remove the
front engine panel (
