Section 4 — 1-M/E Panel Built In Menu
The first two buttons in the first page perform modify all operations either
as a Relative modification or as an Absolute modification. The soft knobs
above these buttons have no function and their label space is used to help
label the buttons.

all perform the same operations and
tally using the same rules as the 4 M/E panel buttons.
The menu in
accesses the effect edit clipboard functions.
Cut

perform the same operations and tally using the same
rules as the 4 M/E panel buttons.
ConstDur
toggles the constant duration editing mode on and off.
The
KF
knob acts as a next/previous key frame mechanism. Turning the
knob counter clockwise repeatedly performs a previous key frame. Turning
the knob clockwise repeatedly performs a next key frame.
The last knob slides the cursor back and forth along the time line. If the run
cursor is active, the effect is jogged by this action. The knob label identifies
the active cursor:
Run Cur
or
EditCur
. The last button in the second page selects
which cursor is active. When
EditCur
button is active, the edit cursor is
active. When it is off, the run cursor is active and the edit cursor follows it.
Note
Many Effect editing functions can be recorded as macros, which can be espe-
cially helpful when building effects on a 1-M/E Main panel. Refer to the
Kalypso User Manual
for information about creating and using macros.
