When the
Slits
data pad is selected a menu similar to
Figure 214. Kurl Menu, Slits
Soft knob controls are provided to control various attributes of the slits:
Offset
— sets the distance adjoining slits move away from each other.
This can be used for transition effects, using a zero offset for the starting
keyframe and an off the screen offset for the ending keyframe.
# Slits
— defines the number of slits.
Random
— defines the degree of randomization of slit width.
Phase
— determines the starting point or phase of the modulation to
occur at the center point.
Angle
— defines the angle of the slits with respect to the source X and Y
axes.
