M/E Menus
M/E Mode Menu
The M/E Mode menu can be used to select different M/E operating modes,
including programmable clean feeds. The menu is accessed by touching
M/E
,

( Figure 226 ).

In
Normal
operating mode an M/E provides a main program output, a
preview output, and a totally clean feed output (no keys).
In
Prog CF
operating mode an M/E can provide four different outputs (A, B,
C, and D), as well as preview. Each of these outputs can include different
keyers. In
Figure 226 PGM PST has been delegated for control. Its A
program output contains all four keyers, while the D program output has
none (a standard clean feed). However, program output B contains only
Key 1 and Key 2, and program output C contains only Key 3 and Key 4.
This creates one main and three different subfeeds all output simulta-
neously from the same M/E. Programmable clean feed is useful for
branding two or more feeds with different keyed logs.
